Our Accreditations

CLE operates a licensing scheme for traders in the construction industry. The CLE scheme promotes higher standards of workmanship and customer service in construction companies.

Gas Safe Register is the official gas registration body for the United Kingdom, Isle of Man and Guernsey, appointed by the relevant Health and Safety Authority for each area. By law all gas engineers must be on the Gas Safe Register.

Gas Safe Register replaced CORGI as the gas registration body in Great Britain and Isle of Man on 1 April 2009 and Northern Ireland and Guernsey on 1 April 2010. 

CSCS was set up to help the construction industry to improve quality and reduce accidents.

CSCS cards are increasingly demanded as proof of occupational competence by contractors, public and private clients and others.

Through working with industry, government and the media, the overall aim of the Scottish Building Federation is to ensure that the important contribution of the Scottish construction industry to Scotland’s economy and society is recognised and valued and that industry standards are raised.
